Each student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs. Teachers and parents share the commitment to understand the social and emotional development of students and provide a nurturing environment where each child can develop a healthy self-concept and become a happy, productive Christian citizen. Learning at GAC teaches students to relate the principles of Christ in every academic discipline and extracurricular activity.
Your child will be prepared. Each will leave his or her own unique imprint on the world. As our graduates head for Harvard, United States Military Academy, or a school in the SEC, they exit with the tools to make decisions about God’s plan for their life.

Day in the Life: Junior High
Eighty Acres of trees, learning environments, and facilities buzzing with the activity of more than 1,800 students in grades k3-12.
Everyone is actively learning, engaging, and challenging one another - all within 10 miles of downtown Atlanta. It’s a partnership between parents, students, and faculty to create a safe and challenging environment that encourages students to become successful adults.
Our students are not only successful in terms of academic accomplishments, but they are also successful in finding out who they are and what they want to become. At GAC, students find and develop their gifts through academics and enrichment opportunities – and they learn to see the needs of others through missions and service.
Once the school day is over, students have access to numerous enrichment activities all on the same campus. Other life changing "outside of the school day” opportunities include mission trips and service projects.
Students begin thinking beyond themselves, and serving others as young as 3 years old. By Junior High, students are traveling the country to help others. When they enter Senior High, they serve others around the world.
Campus life isn’t just about the students. Entire families are strengthened in this one-of-a kind community environment where prayer, praise, and worship are daily privileges.

From the Bible Studies each week to socializing with my children's friends both old and new; the sense of community here leaves our family energized and revitalized, reminding us that GAC is a great place for us all.

Excellence in the arts has always been a part of Greater Atlanta Christian School in both the visual and performing arts.
We believe God, being the Creator of all things, formed man in His own image. Just as God’s nature is creative, mankind has been molded with an innate desire to explore, express, create and construct as a means for understanding the world in which we live. GAC believes it is important for students to be well-rounded. While some may excel at academics or athletics, many excel in Fine Arts. Whether a student thrives being on stage or enjoys marching at halftime with the band, there is something for them at GAC.
We offer programs during the school day as well as enrichment opportunities after school in the arts. During the school day, students of all ages are encouraged to participate in band, drama, orchestra, choir, dance, or visual arts. After school, there are numerous opportunities in the School of Ballet and School of Music. We have extremely qualified and accomplished faculty members and private instructors who can’t wait to work with your child and help them develop their skills and talents.

The Spartan athletic program uses sports as a vehicle to help each student grow as Jesus did, in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.
Spartan athletics has a long history of top teams and athletes. GAC offers a wide variety of sports for boys and girls at all school levels, during each season of the school year. Our highly qualified coaches teach the fundamentals of their sport, they encourage strong competition, and they work with each player to help them excel. But, most importantly, Spartan coaches love the Lord and they emphasize fairness, respect, and sportsmanship in the journey.
Support the Spartans at home and on the road. Follow schedules, results, and accomplishments throughout each season.
We are extremely thankful for the support of current and former Greater Atlanta Christian parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends in the community.
Your time, talent, and financial contributions support our unique mission. While tuition funds a large portion of what it costs to educate our students, it does not fully cover everything it takes to build and run an exceptional school like GAC. Every aspect of GAC life is impacted by your generous gifts—from our spiritual growth and character development opportunities, academic and co-curricular programs, to our campus and facilities. All are made possible through you.
Thank you for your continued support as we seek to provide a high-quality education in a dynamic Christian environment. We are confident that GAC has a profound and lasting impact on students and families. We invite you to explore the various ways you can support Greater Atlanta Christian School.
